I joined 'The Dark Company' a week before Taupo 2007 event, and I'm over the moon with being involved in medieval re-enactment. It's always been something I've wanted to do, but never found a club that I felt comfortable with - until by chance my wife (who is a customer service tutor) had a new student who had been involved with 'The Dark Company' for over a year. It came to pass shortly thereafter, that I found myself shaking hands with the captains and so became a member. Not just a member, but a part of something much more - 'The Dark Company' is more than a club, we're a family!!!
