Started making swords 1984, full time swordsmith since 1994. Currently NOT taking orders, as I am still working full time at Weta Workshop, and if I do have time to make any swords, I have a long list of old work to do first! My website is horribly out of date too, but I will be rebuilding it during 2008.
Started in reenactment in 1984. Founding member of the Wellington Medieval Guild, but now belong to Order of the Boar in Upper Hutt, and the SCA Darton.
I am close to finishing a BA in History extramurally, concentrating on medieval Europe, only 2 papers to go (should finish at the end of 2009).
