I have served with the NZDF for the last 28 yrs, first serving with 32E Battery, Artillery 1980-1983, as a Territiorial Force soldier, during this time I was a signaller for the fire mission batteries. At one stage the unit did form a female gun team just for the day to fire several 105 howitzer rounds and that was pretty impressive. I served in the Regular Force Army from 1983 - 2004 serving as an administrator. I am still working for the NZDF as a civilian administrator from 2005 - to the present day. The new organisation I work for is called the
Joint Logistics Support Organisation (JLSO).
I went to my first Medieval Event on Sunday 28th Jan 08 and had an "awesome" time especially meeting the wonderful range of people who I though were pretty cool. Hiya Murray, I hope your father is getting better or that at least you have seen him? Hey Bogue you are a great guy who has an excellent catapult but I really think you need a female's perspective on the new catapult you are building? To my friend Stu, it was really neat talking to you I think you are a special dude. For Scott...great talking to you about a range of things, I forgot to tell you that I'm interested in learning how to use a short sword and a long sword so contact me with details about where the Raverns are meeting in P/North, cheers guys, c ya...Wes
