Hi Guys
it has been a long, cold winter in the U.K. so far. It's just peachy riding 80kms to work in -7C temperatures , thank goodness for the heated gloves. Anyhow the WMA scene here is re-starting after the Christmas lay off. At the end of February I'm off to The Royal Armouries, Leeds for this years S.W.A.S.H(Symposium on the Western Arts of Swordsmanship through History) a multi-disciplinary approach to WMA. It consists of academic presentation, demonsrations, group classes and the chance for individual tuition from some top instructors.
Check out the website http://www.swash.uk.com/
Here is the Royal Armouries site too http://www.armouries.org.uk/leeds
Regards
Phil( still stuck in the UK ) |
