As a proper "clinical stage" medical student (ooooh ;P), I now have NO free time.

Has anybody lived in Sydney before? I'm having a hard time finding decent fabrics and beads, etc, and wondered if anybody had any recs.

Otherwise...online stores? Any experience with ones that are decent?

I've got contacts doing medieval stuff in Sydney, they should be able to help you out - including drunken debauchery, if you like. Shall I forward your contact details?

I lived in Sydney before and can confirm that there is actually a reenactment scene. My contacts are a bit old but you may try googling for Living History, SCA and live steel online or around universities. These groups will have more information about suppliers etc.
