Dupicate Emails

Hi there,

Is anyone else getting duplicate emails from GD or know what may be causing this - double copies mostly, sometimes tripple or more per post.

If I'm watching a topic I will sometimes get more than one email but they all have different messages. Are your emails have the exact same message on them?

Ben, all I can think to try is this:

* Click 'My Profile' at the top of the page.
* Uncheck all of the forums at the bottom of the page then submit it.
* Now go back into your profile and check all of your submissions again.

It could be possible that when you registered something got screwed up with your profile behind the scenes. Or perhaps you clicked on either the 'Receive topic posts by email' or 'Receive forum posts by email' links on the pages of the site as well as selecting them in your profile... this could possibly cause duplicates, although I doubt it.

I'm assuming you don't have two profiles on the website both subscribed to the same forums and both going to the same email address?

If this still doesn't do the trick let me know and I'll take a close look at your account and see what's happening. I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem.
