As I remember you couldn't find anyone to paint below your belt line.
And things were fine until moonie attacked you like a starving terrier after a cheerio and you moved the sheild to block.

Hi all,
I finalised the deal with the caterers last night, so I have some good news to report today.
There will be a full on-site catering service at the 2008 Great Lake Festival. This will be done from the big marquee at the back of the field. The food will be medieval themed, with big spit roasts, wine and beer from the cask and plenty to go around.
The same caterers will be covering the banquet on Sunday night.
This is good news for all of us.
* Banquet tickets for participants will be $20.00 per head. This is considerably less than half the price of the public tickets.
* Smorgasboard dinners will be $10.00 per head. Dinners are participant only affairs.
* Breakfasts for $5.00 per head. Participants only.
You don't have to eat from the caterers, if you've got the cooking gear and want to cook for yourselves, please feel free.
Best wishes,
Nic |

You will not be able to eat children at any of the catering sites, in fact we would prefer you ate no children for the entire weekend. |

Prices sound excellent Nic.
means people aren't forking out heaps for food if they can't cook for themselves. _________________ Do not scorn a weak cub. He may become a brutal tiger |

Hi Grayson,
Thanks.
It took some hard bargaining with the caterers, hence the delay in being able to let you all know. Absolutely delighted to be able to offer you that though.
Anyhow, I'll certainly be eating from the catering tent, my cooking sucks.

Kids for half-price sound good?
I'll sort it out.

From what I have on the rego lists, a fair sized micro-mob will be present. Bring yours too, then you can come and play!

Hi All,
I'm leaving for Taupo on Sunday to begin setting the site up for the event, so I shan't be able to respond here much more after that.
I will be checking my mailbox as often as I can over the next week leading up to the event, but if you do need urgent help with anything, the best way to get in touch will be my mobile.
That information should be on the website, or in the hands of those registered for the festival who are now in posession of their 2008 event passports.
Looking forward to seeing everybody at Taupo, and trusting that we all have a great event.
Very Truly Yours,
Nic
