Hi Guys
one of the advantages of being stuck in 'old blighty' is access to a large number of highly competent craftspeople. No matter what you need, from a set of Roman surgical imlements to a trebuchet, there is someone who can not only make it properly but has all the documentation to support what they have done. I spotted a superb collection of knives and daggers at a large Reenactors fair a couple of months ago and decided to commision a rondel dagger that incorporated all of the most comon characteristics of those I had seen in museums and the somewhat sketchy drawings in various fight manuals. This came through the post a few days ago.

Pretty happy with the outcome, this maker will see a few more of my pouds now that I have regular work Smile
More of his work can be seen athttp://www.todsstuff.co.uk or http://www.theenglishcutler.co.uk/.

I also have a (blunt) rondel dagger from Tod as well as a few "living history" items from his range and can also highly recommend him.
