Combat arrows are available.

These are the same shafts and blunts as per Nigel's last lot for sale. Ref to here http://www.gatheringdarkness.co.nz/forum/viewtopic.php?t=835

The cost is $13.00 per arrow plus postage, due to the drop in the NZ dollar I am unable to do them for the same cost as before. These are NAAMA Combat Archery legal arrows, flu flu, fibreglass tape and approved blunts.

If you are wanting to buy the shafts and blunts separately the shafts are $2.10 and the blunts are $2.50

I will be making some up to sell at The Taupo Event in Jan but I can also take orders now, limited numbers, if you want to save on postage I can deliver them to you at Taupo. The feathers are commercially coloured feathers so if you want you can to customize your arrow.

Target arrows are also available.
Please PM or email regarding the cost as it varies depending on what you want.

Here is an example of some I made recently

So if you are wanting either please PM or email me.

Here are the colours that I now have on hand

and from a diff angle

Colours are

Red, fluro orange, gold, fluro yellow, lime, green, blue, sky blue, purple, fluro pink, white, grey and black.

The red is a rather nice blood red, not as dark as the photo shows.

Just the shaft, no feathers

Hope this cleared your confusion Very Happy

The feathers pictured are options people have if they purchase complete ( shaft, feathers, blunt and tape all put together) combat arrows from me

I have been asked by some new members of TMS for bows for beginners.
As these newbies have no kit to speak of as of yet they are spending their time trying to get up to speed.
With gt1cm2 covering arrows and I just got some for my wifes birthday (I know Im a hopeless romantic) and they where Very well made and well priced, arrows are covered.
Is any one making bows at a good price that a student newbie could afford?

Think of yourself as cupid!! Lovely to hear you guys like them Very Happy

As to the bows, unless someone is selling some second hand bows your newbies should budget on spending around $200.00 and best bet is to get the reenactors bow, same as the one you have. They aren't the greatest bow but are a good entry level starting point. You can occasionally get some good ones on Trademe reasonably cheap although there doesn't seem to be any on there at the moment

Yep these are the beginners bows and a good deal to get into archery - Darryl and I grabbed a pair from the first shipment NZAP bought in. They definately do the job as a first bow. Only complaint would be that they take on a curve and lose poundage pretty considerably. The good side is that it made a 40# suitable for combat archery (after a year of use).
