im just looking to see how much interest there is for armour

im about to rip into making heeps* of armour to bring to naama to sell
i was thinking of making

some pairs of gauntlets (check my add fore pics)
((maby 1 stainless pair))
a plate body (check my personal album for pics)
sholders plates with gorget (same as in my pics)
and a nasel helm (what are these worth??)

if any1 wants me to custom build the plate set for them please PM me

*heeps is a ralitive term
** any ideas fore what else i can make from a sheet of 1.6? lol
if u have any ideas or agreement just post please i would like to know there is intrest for the gear i can make and how much to make/bring alonge

Could be wrong, but I swear Helms are meant to be 2mm minimum....

robbo i do have a 2mm spun bowl to make into a nasel helm
yes im sure its 2mm at a minimun for naama combat helms

if any1 wants me to build the (plate body+gorget+sholders set) for them insted of just making it and hoping itl fit some1

its a bloody resonable price that im selling the set for

Yep, you are....

There was a very long thread on this a while back, but the short answer is that even the SCA allow 1.6mm helms though they don't reccommend them

Controlled fighting to the touch does not require minimum thickness's of helmets. There is a general recommendation to have 2mm mild steel helmets as this tends to fit non NAAMA fighting standards as well. But there is no rule for such.

mmmm true that but 2mm is better for me when you have an axe in your head or peps that just hit to hard. BUT its up to you its your head thats my bit.
