I acknowledge this is slightly off Medieval topics, but it may be of interest to dancers wishing to learn Middle Eastern folkloric/historical/regional styles of dance (as well as the more outre genres of belly dance).
The Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand (MEDANZ) is holding its annual festival in early April. 2010 is the first time this event will ever be held in Tauranga!
