Would it be possible to replace the current editor with a WYSWIG?
Something like TinyMCE or FCKeditor. The current editor requires a fair
amount of technical knowledge to make full use of the List, Img, URL
features. And it is difficult to insert, and resize, inline images. |

Hi John,
Anything is possible, although in this case this would be technically quite difficult with how the PhpBB engine used here has been built. It would actually be quite difficult to retrofit WYSIWYG into the site. Sorry about that, but this one is probably not going to happen. Most people get by fine with what's here, and it's still possible to get your point accross even without fancy markup and inline images. Also bear in mind that most people get their content delivered to the email address, and are not reading it online, so anything has to be email friendly as well - which is a bit more work on top again.
I hope that answers your question.
Cheers,
Nigel |
