does anyone have a source for the above type of wire, basically for decoration on mail.. would rather not pay $33 p/m for copper wire from the electrical store LOL.. _________________ I now wait to shake the Hand of Fate |

There is alot of copper wire in just about every electrical motor you can think of, I have salvaged coils from washing machines, vacuums...all sorts
over the years, none of it very heavy guage, but I was looking for fine stuff...

if you are looking to make rings to edge your mail, then go to a welding supply shop. There will be bronze wire in a number of different diameters. You will need to anneal it to make nice tight closed rings.

very nice, that was my next port of call, it's just down the road from work, that being said, living in new plymouth every other shop is a engineering shop that stocks welding gear.. _________________ I now wait to shake the Hand of Fate |
