If you are going to sew the chain straight to the glove I recommend using solid rings for the out side edge or failing that riveted links or washers.

when is it?
if its at an alright time might drive down just for a looksee and could drop it to you then
adrian from the ravens has a very handy device for winding "springs" for making the maile. ask him about it i was meant to have a look at taupo but i found a better way
a friend of mine has a metal lathe. i stuck a long piece of 8mm round in drilled a hole. stuck the wire through and let it rip... wound 40 meters of it in about 10 minutes haha was excellent! _________________ lament not where you failed to achieve but where you failed to seize opportunity |

Just so you know the, Falcons won't be having a tent thing at Manakau, we're not getting paid to take one. the best spot to catch up would be at Nigel and Kathryn's shoot the knight stand, most of the falcons will be there after the combat _________________ Do not scorn a weak cub. Looking at getting some cheapish stuff to begin with then maybe getting some spring steel wire from a outfit in chch. The start of a very long project of making a set or two of maile..... its gonna be fun _________________ Dom is als dom posten |

cool, i find a good cheap wire to use, i used it for my glove and am using it for my chain for my helmet, its brand is Zenith, its TIE WIRE and has a blue cardboard circle on top of the wire roll. in a small orange box on the cardboard it says:
16G (1.gmm dia.)
x 30M
it also says(not in orange box):
GALVANISED - FOR LONG LIFE
HANDY DISPENSER REEL
costs $8 from bunnings warehouse |
