We acquired a 1952 book on Archery by Robert P Elmer which includes construction of wood bows, steel bows(yes steel, this is not a misprint), arrows, strings, accessories etc. It also has tables on calculating bow strengths at different draws, details on technique, arrow flight and shows records of both American and British Archery contests. As a side note there are hand written scores for RNZAF vs Army (in NZ).
If anyone wants to have a look, let us know and we can bring it to the next camp, or drop in next time you are in Palmerston North.
