DNSChanger Malware

Hello everyone,

A little note to bring to your attention the advisory that more than a thousand New Zealanders face interruption to their internet access tomorrow.

All servers infected with the virus, DNSCharger, will be shut down at four o'clock tomorrow afternoon New Zealand time by the FBI.

I have taken the liberty of checking the IP addresses that have logged into Gathering Darkness. From my preliminary investigation it looks like the shut down won't affect anyone that is using Gathering Darkness.

I strongly recommend that people visit www.dns-ok.org.nz to see if their computer is infected.
