Attention all fabriholics!
Wellington's wonderous little bazaar of indian and thai silk and trimmings will be closing its doors approx. 21 March 2014 so that the gentleman owner may enjoy his quality of life in retirement.
Still masses of silk in various weaves in stock, a great deal of it half price. Also a lot of those lovely indian ribbons at damn good clearance prices, some of which have patterns very similar to wovern trims found in medieval europe provided you only see the front.
Chat with him about what you might be making and try to pick rolls with not too much more than you need on it and he may well throw in the rest for you.
(sorry folks, didn't know whether this should be in Textile craft or Trade.) _________________ "Santioned Lunacy" - Matthew Armstrong, Wellygeddon 2008 |
