or type in trebuchet plans... in google and wait 0.5 seconds.
The "why" we started was sitting in the garage thinking there's room for something in here other than the couch.
This thing can be built entirely from dumpster diving.
We did buy Ye olde medieval truck bearing... but elsewise... you're away with three mad inventers and a crate every friday night.
Good luck and give us a ping if you hit any snags.

On the acid rain and the sheep dog trials.
500 years and the nobles haven't learned.
Debts paid on retribution earned,"

Actually I was after plans for a more historically acurate one, much like the one Conal had at NAAMA last year.
I would also like the locations on how to make it so is easily transportable, to get it too NAAMa |

Bad Neighbour (Conals Treb) and Urban Disturbance (Mine) will be at NAAMA for you to have a look at.
If your desperate to get it up and running prior to that search the net, dive some dumpsters and flex your imagination.
That's the best way.
Words of advice:
1) Make sure it is solid
2) Make sure there is no lateral movement in the uprights and bearings.
3) Make sure the traverse of the arm is square to the axle.
4) Remember that lead is bloody heavy (11.3kg/litre)
5) Go Here http://www.rlt.com/trebuchet/sim/
6) Buy a trailer.
Now go forth and Imagineer a trebuchet
Cheers
